Your contract is a contract with Moran’s Specialised Caterers. Moran’s are not responsible for the venue, licensing or legislatorial requirements, health and safety of guests, safe keeping of client valuables, personal belongings and gifts.
Caterers are responsible and will work in compliance with all applicable local health and safety regulations relating to food preparation and food services.
Payment
All clients should understand that upon entering into the Moran’s Caterers contract, we are committing 100% of our time and resources to your selected event date and thus cancellation would result in the loss of income and loss of business opportunities in an amount hard to precisely calculate. The following limitations will apply;
The clients deposit will be credited against any outstanding balance found on the client’s payment plan.
All prices are inclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise and are quoted in pound sterling. Prices are subject to fluctuation due to the increase in the supply of food, drink and service costs.
Moran’s reserves the right to increase the price per person if there is an increase of more than five guests after final numbers have been agreed.
Where children are attending, if over 12 years of age they are payable at the same rate as adults. If the child is under the age of 12 years of age they will be charged at a kid’s rate. All charges will be agreed, once the menus and final costs have been agreed by all parties.
Venues outside a10 mile radius of caterer’s base may incur travel and delivery expenses. Please see Delivery & Collection terms for further information.
Once the clients deposit has been received a final bill will be issued by caterer together with an initial menu, event itinerary and costs based on the number of guests and selections made by the client at this time.
Event itinerary provided by caterer must be adhered to in order to guarantee the highest level of service. Failure to adhere may cause food and service standards to suffer.
The parties will agree to the menu 90 days prior to the event. Caterer reserves the right to make additional changes to the menu if key ingredients are unable to be sourced due to reasons beyond the control of the parties. Caterer holds the right to surcharge client for event which occur on bank holidays.
Payment methods available include, bank transfer, BACS transfer, payment cards, cheque and cash. Note that international payment transactions will incur a £6.00 fee per transaction. Credit card payments are subject to 2.6% charge and American Express cards are subject to 3% charge. All transaction fees and charges must be absorbed by the client. If fees and charges are not retained, this will be added as an additional cost to the client’s final bill.

Cancellations
Any client that wishes to cancel their event, the party MUST provide a written letter of confirmation to head office, [Moran’s Retail Ltd, 138b Strand Rd, Derry-Londonderry, Northern Ireland, BT48 7PB] which is signed and dated. This will cause the loss of all amounts paid up to the cancelation date. Parties are liable for any outstanding costs and must be paid under the party’s contract.
Outstanding payments will be invoiced to the party and can also be found in the client’s payment plan.
If caterer cannot fulfil its obligations under this contract for reasons outside of its control, caterer may locate and retain a replacement catering company at no additional cost to client, or refund clients money in full. Caterer will not be responsible for any additional damages or compensation under these circumstances.

Limitations
The parties agree to not post any negative information arising out of this contract or event on any online forum, social media platforms or website without providing advance written notice of the intended content thereof, and providing the caterer with an opportunity to resolve any issues between the parties amicably.
Caterer may need to have access to the venue no later than 1-4 days in advance of the start time, and 2 days after the end time of the event. Client will make all necessary arrangements, at client’s expense, to get this access arranged. This is the maximum number of days but may vary depending on the size of the client’s event.
Ownership of rights
All rights, including copyright and other intellectual property right, in and to this website are owned by or licensed to Moran’s Specialised Caterers.
Your interaction with the website and its contents grants no rights to you in relation to our intellectual property rights, or that of third parties, in the website or its content. By submitting information (other than personal data), text, photos, graphics or other content to the website you confirm that you have the right to use the same and grant Moran’s Specialised Caterers a right to use such materials at our own discretion (with or without accreditation) in any media including, without limitation, to edit, copy, reproduce, disclose, post and remove such materials from the website.
You as a user of our website are protected by the data protection act and it is our moral obligation to fairly and lawfully protect your personal information that governs in the UK laws.
Caterer obtains ownership of all photos and videos taken at an event by their internal photographer in agreement with the client. By entering this contract the client gives Moran’s right to use photo and video content in our advertising campaigns, may this be on online (includes social media websites and moranscaterers.com), in-stores, magazines and newspapers.
Rules of Submissions
You must be 18 years of age or older to post a submission.
Submissions must not include;
Moran’s, in its absolute discretion, reserves the right to not publish the Submission or remove it, take any appropriate action if deemed necessary or remove reviews which relate to seasonal products which are no longer in season.
